Michele Savoldi - Founding Member
Michele Savoldi was bitten by the marketing and PR bug when she worked at a radio station over 20 years ago. Rose Landon - Founding Member
Rose thoroughly enjoys spending time with her family and friends, gardening and traveling across country with her husband, Robb. Her passion lies in creating heirloom quality quilts. Her beloved family and friends have been the proud recipients of these works of art. Rose is a gifted teacher and has passed her passion onto her granddaughter and countless friends. It is easy to catch her enthusiasm for design and the geometry of quilt making.
In an effort to stay in touch with her family and friends, Rose embraced social media. Facebook was just the beginning of her journey to being a social media maven. It was through her work with Tastecasting and Meet2Eat that she learned the art of promoting restaurants using various social media platforms. Her friends now call her for recommendations on where to dine. During her involvement with these socially minded groups, she has formed new friendships, visited unique restaurants and learned to appreciate technology.
Rose’s ideal vacation is going to a place and discovering the unexpected. Finding what makes a place different from the next. Taking a hike in the woods getting away from the everyday. Being in God’s sweet spot and finding the beauty in that place. Then coming home to family and friends is the best part of it to the people who know me and love me and want to be in my life. To know I belong somewhere where they accept me for me. What more could you want?

Lisa Foster
Lisa Foster arrived in Columbus 12 years ago and bonded immediately with her new Buckeye identity. Moving from Maine, Lisa, her husband and two children settled in Dublin, where they have been enjoying everything that Central Ohio has to offer. A veteran of long drives down country roads, the idea of the Weekend ReTweat really struck a chord with Lisa’s love for travel and exploring new places. Spending a weekend in a new town is both a relaxing escape and an opportunity for discovery. Sharing that discovery makes the experience richer and even more enjoyable.
Lisa’s professional background in real estate has given her a keen appreciation for the architecture and unique features of different communities throughout the country. She started her own business, real estate photography and marketing services, providing high quality photos and property brochures which real estate agents use to market their listings. Her job is to “help the house find its owners” by showcasing the features and amenities that make each one of them someone’s new home. This line of work has given her the opportunity to get to know many towns and neighborhoods throughout Central Ohio. She describes herself as having a ‘map brain’, and a real affinity for exploring whatever area she happens to be in.
When she’s not busy photographing houses, one of the things Lisa enjoys most is working with Emerald City Players, a community theater company in Dublin, Ohio. She can usually be found staffing the box office, but has ventured on stage to perform in a few productions. Lisa’s a huge fan of social media and has integrated the use of Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and other programs into her business and personal life. She’s participated in conferences, seminars, meetups and groups including Meet-2-Eat, TasteCasting, Social Media Club Columbus, RE Barcamp and more. An unrepentant news junkie, Lisa is a lover of family, dachshunds, cats and traveling. While she’d like to live at the beach, Lisa has the Grand Canyon, Australia, Hawaii and a return trip to Lake Tahoe on her travel wish list.

Roberta Yoder

Roberta became an entrepreneur by default – she married one. Having quit her full time job as Human Resource Manager in the automotive industry to help with the family business, her mindset shifted from employee to business owner and entrepreneur. Bitten by the social media and marketing bug, she thrives on networking and marketing her concrete construction business and the amazing counties in which she straddles: Champaign and Logan Counties in Ohio.
In the fall of 2009, Roberta’s husband suggested she take a getaway weekend by herself to refresh and renew. So she followed the Graham High School Marching Band to a band festival in northern Ohio and spent the entire weekend at a bed and breakfast by herself. And by herself it was, as there were no other guests and no innkeepers outside of the initial welcome when she arrived. Breakfast was cereal on the counter. Crumbs were on the table. The entire time she was thinking, “I could do better than this!” Thus the dream began…Roberta has been unable to get that thought out of her head, and she dreams of owning her own bed and breakfast in the future. So as she focuses on marketing her current business, she also makes notes on how she can apply those skills to her future business. Every opportunity she gets to stay in another town, she looks for a bed and breakfast to call home for the night.
Roberta was thrilled to be asked to join the Weekend Retweat team. Combining social media and a Bed and Breakfast sounded like a perfect fit with her interests and aspirations.
