The 4 Seasons Hideaways Glass House: A Relaxing & Adventurous Weekend

April 18, 2011|Posted by Michele Savoldi|Views (736)|Comments (5)

The ladies from Weekend ReTweat just returned from the 4 Seasons Hideaway Glass House feeling, relaxed, rejuvenated and frankly, a little spoiled. Upon reaching the top of the hilly, twisty driveway and seeing this incredible sight we automatically knew we were in for a real treat!

And seeing the back of the house we knew why it got its name.

Friday evening was spent enjoying everything the Glass House had to offer from catching up in the comfortable, contemporary living room.

To making fresh guacamole in the ultra modern kitchen and sipping wine while listening to the Coffee House mix on the flat screen TV's satellite channel.

To relaxing in the hot tub on the wrap-around deck and melting in the incredible massaging chair that overlook the fountain and pond.

Because the Glass House is in the heart of Hocking Hills, Saturday was filled with adventure. Some of the ladies went zip lining with Hocking Hills Canopy Tours in the morning,

and in the afternoon the entire group hiked Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls and Ash Cave. Special thanks to Robb Landon for being such a great hike guide!

Before preparing and sitting down to a delicious dinner we needed to refresh and take a shower and what a shower it is (two actually, one upstairs and one downstairs)!

After a restful night's sleep we awoke to a gorgeous sunrise shining through the windows. Everyone admired the wooded view and blue sky taking in the last bit of relaxation before heading back to reality. The coffee mug pretty much summed up our thoughts!

So if you are planning at Hocking Hills getaway and are looking for something different than a cabin stay we would all highly recommend the Glass House. This one of a kind, relaxing and welcoming stay is one you will remember fondly for a long time to come!
